How dd you get your screen name?

I know this was posted before and I remember telling everyone how I came up with my name, but for those that are new it might be time for some re-telling.
I can understand the reasoning behind my name:
Mickey527, I love Mickey and I was born on May(5) 27th.
Ther are others that I can figure out because I know the person, ie:
Figgy loves Figment
Dom13 loves the number 13 etc...

But MdStrwbry??? Evil Strawberry Shortcake?
Happybirthdaycat??? celebating her cat's birthday forever?
Raulandpinboy....wait, we know all about Ed's alias and his pin boy....

My DH wanted to name our DD Dana Catherine, which is close to my given name, but not quite. Well, we didn't name the baby Dana Catherine, but the name somehow got imbedded in our brains. So one day when I was joining an online group, I needed to type in a name. My real name was already taken, so I typed in danacath instead. Bingo--it's been my screen name ever since.

[Cheshire Figment]

Since Cheshire Cat and Figment were both taken, I decided that I really combine the better qualities of each. (JudySue says that the Chesire Cat has no redeeming qualiities at all, but that's her opinion.)

My only real problem is to design a logo... Do I do a Cheshire Cat in Figment colors? Do I do a Figment in Cheshire Cat colors? My thought is the latter would be preferable, but since my grin resembles that of the Cheshire Cat I would want to have the grin included, but that might worry people.

Any suggestions?

When I first signed up on the DIS, I used MZDavis, which I had used for my first AOL account, but Lauri and I both posted under the name.

A while after becoming moderators and still sharing the same name, we decided to split into separate names. This was around the time the boards were moving to the vBulletin from Infopop, so it was a perfect time to make new names.

I couldn't come up with anything right for me, so I asked for suggestions on the board, and a board member suggested Obi-Wan Pinobi -- a great combination for a Disney pin collecting Star Wars fan.

As Peggie said, my first name is Dominic and my favorite # is 13 hence Dom13. I NEVER intended to be around here this long so I did not put much thought into coming up with a screen name. Had I done so I probably would not have posted until 2001 as it would have taken me a while to come up with the "perfect" name.

I earned mine by having over well 1000 Eeyores. I collect anything with my beloved donley on it-clothes, housewares and now pins

I also used to have a web site that is down for redevelopment but I hope to have it back up next year.

Well, I am a fanatic of anything POOH. I have collected for more than 25 years, and I will not even try to count how many things, Pooh I have.

Olbear came from the fact the Winnie the Pooh is called by Christopher Robin to be a silly "olbear"!!

On another board I'm called Crazy4Pooh, but it was already taken here. I call my DH POOH and I also love Pooh Bear. So I came up with PigletsPal-------who is POOH!!

My favorite character is Mickey - hence Mickey, and 7811 is my house number.

So Mickey7811.

Everything else I wanted was already taken, so I came up with the house number behind Mickey.

If I could do it again, I think I would do 4 Mickey, since that is what is on my license plate of my car - but I am sure that is already taken.

ABout a zillion years ago . . . YES, I have been on the DIS <b>that long!</b>. . . I was registering for the first time, and needed a screen name.

So what do I choose?

Something princess-ey for my love of princesses?
<i>No.</i>

Something referring to my love of WDW? <i>No.</i>

Something about some character I like ? Or Space ? Or Science Fiction? <b>Or anything in the world that makes sense?</b> <i>No.</i>

I glance over at my DH, I am overcome by his personality, and pick the name <b>Eeyore's Pal!</b> Me! One who cannot even tolerate Pooh and his Pals in <i>minute</i> doses!

This is the monicre I am stuck with <i>for life!</i> Do you know there are people who actually <i>give me</i> Eeyore pins??? Luckily DH began collecting, and he is very happy to accept those donations.

Hello Peggie!! I am still so psyched that I'll get to meet you over New Year's!! My son created a cartoon super hero cat a few years ago that has all kinds of wonderful adventures.
