How Crowded is Star Wars Weekend?

We had planned to go to MGM for EE on Saturday, June 14. Just realized that's a Star Wars weekend (and the last one). How crowded will it be???

Our boys would certainly be excited about going then (so far I haven't mentioned that there is such a thing as a Star Wars weekend), but we will have an infant with us as well. If it's going to be a madhouse, I'd prefer to reschedule our MGM visit.

I'd love any input y'all can give us. Thanks!

We were there during the first weekend - May 16-18. I didn't think that it was any more crowded than a usual weekend. But it sure was HOT. We saw Billy Dee Williams and the guy who played C3PO. Lots of characters milling around. We are not Star Wars fanatics, but it was fun.

We were there when you were Pigpen. I think that the park its self was not too crowded, but the area where the Star Wars characters were was pretty tough to get through. We were there in the late afternoon on Friday.

I was at the first day of Star Wars Weekend on Friday May 16th. I was there in mid-day, and it wasn't too crowded. There were some characters out, like Han Solo and Bobba Fett (or maybe Jango?), and also some beast-looking guard. The lines for the characters weren't bad. I only stayed a few minutes because it was sooo HOT I just could not take the heat.

I did get a free collector's Star Wars card game that they were handing out, so that was neat. :)
