How Crowded is Mardi Gras?

Just curious. We have a 1 day, 1 park pass that we plan to use over Spring Break but were debating between US and IOA. Is there crazy crowds? If so, how long are waits on the rides throughout the day? Does it effect IOA if the concerts are at US?

Sorry for all of the questions, but the last thing we wanna do is wait in crazy lines all day. If they're horrendous, we will go on a weekday, even though it's less convenient for us.

I forgot to tell you the date would be March 16th.

Matchbox Twenty will be performing that night so the Studios will be jammed for the concert. Lines during the day will be long if you're going during Spring Break and around 4pm or so, you will notice people entering for the parade and concert. IoA is unaffected by Mardi Gras crowds.

Spring Break is always busy so you should expect waits of at least 45 minutes but it will probably be longer depending on the attraction.
