We are going to visit for our 2nd trip and want to know what the crowds will be like. What will the weather be like, temperature? Some will say cold but lately where I live it has been in the teens during the days and yesterday it was 28 and gorgeous outside, So specifics would be great.

When does MVMCP start? What days is it on? I guess I will have to look into getting a 2006 passporter or do they get cheaper before I go?

We went to WDW Dec 5-11th 2005. It was generally in the low 70's for a high and partly cloudy. I'm from Wisconsin but I still thought it was cold enough to wear long sleeves and pants almost everyday (and coats at night). I would dress in layers if I were you because it gets warm in afternoon but it's cold in the morning and evening (for Florida ;) ).

Also, it rained for three of the days we were there but a CM told me that was unusual for Dec.

Crowds were great! We still followed a touring plan but the longest we waited in line was 20 minutes. The only busy day was Saturday night at Epcot but probably because locals go there on weekends.

Coincidently, those are the exact dates we were there in 2005! Weather happened to be beautiful - mid 70's during the day and low to mid 50's in the evening (the following week it was cooler and cloudier). Crowds were just fine - picked up on the weekend due to the beginning of Pop Warner week. Anticipating long lines, we grabbed fastpasses and didn't really need them. Walked on TOT, RnRC, Space and Thunder Mountains - Fantasyland is always busy, fastpass for Soarin'. It was a great time to go. Osborne lights and Christmas decorations are up - it's beautiful. MVMCP was Dec. 1 & 4.
We spoke with a couple from FL and they commented on how much busier it was compared to 2004. This was our first Dec. trip, so we couldn't compare. Happy planning!!

I was there from Dec 3 -- 11 in 2005. Crowds are low. If you plan correctly, you can walk onto most rides. We did. On Sunday the 10th we had the MK done by 3pm !!

Soaring was really the only "long" wait. It posted a 60 minute wait on night we were ther (I think on the 7th), we got on in 25 minutes. We did FP it on the 10th, EPCOT was very crowded that day.

Go and enjoy the first week of December. Everything is decorated for the Holidays. Pop Warner is there at that time but other than some annoying cheers, they did not have an impact on the crowds that much.

well, I just booked my vacation, we are officially arriving on the 1st and will have to pick our restaraunts by june 4th. I already know we want Breakfastasaurus again and maybe I can try to swing breakfast with Cinderella too! Should I try Boma? I will need a sit down for each day and figured I'll need some new places to eat. We love new foods and although I'm not a fan of seafood my boys and DH love it. As long as they also have a kind of chicken or steak I will be there.

if I go to the x-mas party on our first night there, where should I eat? I will have a sit-down dinner for that day to use or I could do my counter service and do two sit-downs on one day right? Are there any character breakfast that usse two credits? Can I have breakfast or dinner with Mickey that I can take the monorail to or from?
