We haven't been in such a long time but are planning to go visit my mom over Easter.
I get off from work the week before Easter and after. We thought we might try to go to Disney the week after.
Any idea how crowded it will be? We use to go 2 weeks before Easter and it wasn't bad. Especially when Easter was late.

Also my mom is a Florida resident. They haven't renewed their passes in a few years. But plan to this year. Will they be able to get in that week? Or is it blocked? They always get the one where they can't go in 2 months during summer, Dates in Dec and I think Easter week. But not sure about the week after.

Thanks

I went during Easter two years ago, and it was pretty darned crowded. It was hard to walk and the ride waits were anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour.

Personally my new favorite time to go is September.

Our traditional time to visit WDW was during the two weeks that straddle Easter. I can tell you from experience, it is very crowded. I love it though because the weather is usually good, (unless there is a rainy spring), the humidity is low and it is festive. Just thinking about going during Easter week(s) brings back such fond memories. My mom always came and we had a great time. Don't let the crowds scare you if that is when you want to go.
