We are thinking of going on Mothers Day but don't want to wait in hour long ride lines. Do you think it will be too bad?

Good question. I am wondering the same thing.

My guess is that it will be the same as any other Sunday. But you just never know. :confused3

I'd like to know what others think...

I just posted this question yesterday and had a couple of replies...you can look a little bit back, my post is call "Mother's Day @ Disney"

I will be there and it looks like it will be really really busy. :crowded: I suggest everyone reading this that is planning on visiting Sunday just cancel your plans. ;)

I have been several times during Mothers Day weekend and its always been crowded...One thing is that DH has a fabulous MD brunch...usually its revolved around the princesses...its absolutely awesome...so anyone going should definitely do this...have to make ressies though...but be prepared for long wait times and tons of people and I think its going to be a hot one!

Well, to our surprise, it was not very crowded at all. There was zero wait for Star Tours. Zero. We walked right up, and our only waiting was for the previous group to finish their ride. There were still Fastpasses available for Space Mountain after 3 p.m. The lines for Autopia were short. The Fastpass for Buzz Lightyear was never more than about 90 minutes ahead. Tables were readily available at all of the restaurants. Lines at the stores were short, too. I never made it over to Splash Mountain, but I'm guessing that lines were long for that, because it was definitely Splash Mountain weather.

Same here darkacre! It was definetly a slow day at Disneyland. Even the ART was almost empty every time we took it (we went back to the hotel at lunch time for a break). We also went that day to California Adventure and it was even emptier than Disneyland. So to those who want to know about Mother's Day at Disneyland...IT'S A GOOD DAY TO GO!!!
