How crowded are the Park at the end of June?

I'm considering a trip towards the end of June and was wondering how crowded everything is. This would be around June 20th for a week. Are most schools out by then?

I have heard that after the first week of June, the crowds are near unbearable. It was for this reason I booked June 1 - 8 for my trip.

Unbearable is not good! I've been the 3rd week of August so it was hot but the crowds weren't as bad (I guess...not much to compare it to in my experience cause I usually go off season) since some schools were back in session.

Anyone else?

at this time of year and never found it to be that bad. The parks are open later and it was never that crowded..until right around the 4th.

We went around the 11th to 16th of June last year. The crowds were not bad for us. But we saw firsthand reports that the crowd levels "exploded" a couple days after we got back.

We have visited WDW during late June only once. This was from June 19-25, 2003. The parks and resorts were definitely more crowded than our previous late May/early June visits and slightly more crowded than our mid-March visits, which were pretty heavily crowded. As mentioned in another post, parks stay open later which helps spread the crowds out over the day. All days seemed manageable with respect to crowds in the parks, except for Tuesday, June 24; MK was extremely crowded that day.

Sounds like a lot of folks head down when the kids get out of school so the parks get crowded. As my oldest is in school this is the only time we could take advantage of the new Disney Visa card deal. I've booked the room so now to decide whether to keep it or wait and go later in the year when it is less crowded. Many thanks!
