We are ping june 2-6 for disney moon with our 5 kids. We are thinking of swapping tues and Saturday plans so tuesday would be non park and Saturday DHS. We fly out at 7. Not huge Star Wars fans so will probably dodge most of it but the boys would like some of it.

Just looking for feedback on the crowd levels. We have done july 4, christmas Eve, and Thanksgiving- so big things dont scare us.

I think it's typically very crowded. We've actually seen people sleeping out for SWW.

We're trying it for the first time this year. I'm hoping the masses are away from the non-Star Wars stuff, but not 100% sure.

There's really no way to "dodge" the Star Wars stuff during SWW. The park is completely taken over. There are outdoor M&Gs all over the place, a parade (which I believe is twice a day this year), stage shows, and even BatB is having shows cut to use their theatre for Star Wars stuff. Saturday is the most crowded day for the SWW crowd, too, so you'd be going into the most crowded park that is crowded due to an event you have very little interest in. That just doesn't make much sense, IMO.

Imagine Christmas crowds plus heat, humidity, and insanity. If all you want is the rides go Tuesday with fast passes.

This will be our third SWW and I don't think it is that bad. It really depends on what you are going for. People camped out are usually there for actor autographs. We don't go for those or for many of the shows and have found it quite manageable. I certainly wouldn't compare it to many of the other holiday dates you listed. There is usually one parade, at 11 or 11:30. It is near just to see all the Star Wars characters roaming the parks. It is the only time there are character meals for Star Wars. If your kids like Star Wars I would certainly go.

We are coming from the beach Tuesday and would love not to rush over and also be able to do a relaxing day of DTD and exploring the resorts, swimming. Then hit parks 4 days.
