How crazy is HHN on the opening night?

Hi all!!!

We'll be coming to Orlando for the week of the 24th...our only opportunities for HHN this year will be the 24th (opening night) or the 25th (a Saturday). I want to use S&S, and I already have my Universal tickets, so I can't buy those on line. I'm wondering how the possibility of the first weekend selling out is...I'd prefer to go Friday, but will go Saturday if Friday isn't possible...Thanks for the help!!!

Last year they were running a special for passholders and it was still pretty quiet. We got through every house without buying an express pass.

It won't sell out...I always go on opening Friday night and it's relatively sane.

I bought an express pass for Saturday opening weekend last year but I did this only to do each house twice.
