Ok everyone.. Here is a question for you. I just called the undercovertourist.com, to see if they had any more 2005 tickets left. She said they did, so I asked for a price on a one day ticket to MK, the price she gave was......$68.75, this she said included tax.. BUT, I went on the WDW site and checked out the price of a one day ticket and it shows $63.00 plus tax, not sure how much tax is in Florida, but at even 7% it would be cheaper than the undercover site price????
Am i missing something here? If it is more on the undercover site, I will jst order our one day pass at DWD online..
I did reask her if these were 2005 prices and she said yes..??
HMMM?
Any thoughts??

I noticed the difference when you are buying multiple day tickets.

Is it possible that she quoted that with the plus option?

I don't think so.. She said it was the one day magic your way ticket, I asked if that is just the normal one day ticket, and she said yes..
They are all magic your way tickets right?? I know on the wdw site it said the same thing, magic your way...
I think something is funny here..
Maybe I am wrong, but it don't appear to be right, and if it were the 2005 prices it should have been cheaper than the new prices on the wdw site??
If I remember correctly the 2005 prices for a one day passes were like 58 or 59 dollars, if I remember correctly that is..
So I don't know??

According to my Passporter which I happen to have with me...

2005, 1 day base ticket purchased at the gate is $64

Not sure how that is, but on wdw site it shows $63.00?? Something is goofy here, I am going to check other sites and even call the number for wdw and find out the scoop..

Ok, now I am more confused, I went to the allears site and they show $67.10 for a one day and I went back to wdw site to re-check and it does show $63.00 for a one day.. So I will just call them and find out..
Ugh, can you tell I am confused and it is our first time at this!

allearsnet.com quotes ticket prices with the tax already added in. disneyworld.com does not. The tax rate is 6.5%. Add that to the $63.00 price that disneyworld.com quotes and you get {{insert drum roll here}}...$67.10! {{insert cymbal crash here}}.

Now, even if you were to purchase that 1-day pass in advance from disneyworld.com, you would have to pay to ship it to you. The cost??? $3.00 per order if mailed within the USA. The cost for undercovertourist.com to mail your tickets? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Total cost to purchase a single, 1-day pass from disneyworld.com = $70.10. Total cost to buy a single 1-day pass from undercovertourist.com = $68.75. Of course, if you need to buy several 1-day passes, then getting them from disneyworld.com will be cheaper in the longrun b/c shipping costs don't increase with the number of passes purchased. And you can always choose the willcall option at disneyworld.com and avoid all shipping costs.

Given that very few online ticketbrokers even offer the 1-day passes, you don't have too many options here. I don't think that undercovertourist is quoting you 2005 rates for the 1-day passes, but I could be wrong. I've never had need for one and don't have that price written down anywhere.

aka-mad4themouse..
Thanks, your reply is great.. I know, I also think the undecover prices were 2006, not a break at 2005 prices..
Yah, actually we will need 4 adults and one child ticket..
What is the will call at wdw?? Is that where you order them and pay for them on the phone(or on-line) and then when you get there you pick them up??
So if you this is it, has there ever been any problems, say you get there and they say you don't have tickets?? I am scared about that. Also, will you be able to get in early to the parks if they open early, meaning, do you have to wait to the real open time to get your tickets??
Yah, not many offer the one day passes, not even at the Disney stores, they start theirs at 3 days and up..
If I can order and pay for them on the phone with disney, and then get them right when we get there I might just do this, would save 3.00..
Let me know the scoop on all my questions..
Thanks.

I haven't done will call pickup myself. It's my understanding that you order the tickets online, pay by CC or Disney Rewards Card and then print a Will Call Certificate. When you arrive at WDW, you take the certificate to the ticket window at the theme park. It would be a good idea to have the CC used to purchase the passes as well as some form of ID.

To be honest, I don't see the advantage to ordering a 1-day pass ahead of time. You're still going to have to stand in line at the ticket window to pick them up and you aren't getting any discounts off the gate price. You could show up on the day that you plan to visit the parks and pay the same amount.
