I am watching FOTLK again! I'm a lion this time, too. I got distracted reading some email and missed the fire guy. I think he needs my full attention! Then it's back to the resort to rest before dinner at Narcoossee's and MNSSHP. See ya real soon!

Did everybody like the parade? One of the little girls chosen to ride on one of the floats had the biggest smile I've ever seen on a child's face - it totally said, "I can't believe I'm getting to do this!" So sweet!

Now I'm riding that thrill ride called "Get to the parking lot with five thousand other people! It's my favorite!

I don't think they are that bad, really. It's about 4:30pm and EE, the safari, and Kali have 50 minute waits, but everything else is ten minutes or less. They haven't stopped me from walking on ITTBAB and seeing Pocahontas once and FOTLK twice.

The lovebugs are another story, though. I think the future of the species is secure.

For the record, I love Tony's! A big old plate of overpriced spaghetti and Lady and the Tramp - what's not to love? I had a great New York strip steak last night.

And not to rub it in or anything, but I'm sitting at a table at Narcoossee's looking out over the water at Cinderella's Castle, waiting for my dinner. All I'll say is one of us is having Surf and Turf tonight, and I'll bet it isn't you!

On, and did you know that a perk of the Disney Dining Experience is free valet parking? And that because I asked nicely and told the CM I would be glad to follow the rules, he told me he would be happy for me to leave my car in valet parking until after MNSSHP? Ssshhhh, don't tell!

Thats ok....I have an ADR on Dec 14 for Narcoosees...and that is what I will be having !!! lol I will be solo...for the first time....so I can take my time and enjoy it!!

Oops, I just made the mistake of going over to the CB and reading the "prejudice on the DIS" thread. Guess I won't post about my lobster tail and filet mignon over there!

But I will here! Dessert was a difficult choice, but I decided on a trio of sorbets - mango, berry and pear, with raspberry sauce and fresh fruit. Delicious! Oh, and I saved 12.64 with my DDE card.

Obviously I'm indulging on this trip, but I do have an AP and 3 of the nights are "free" with DVC points, and the other 3 are 25% off, so it's not too bad.

I don't know about the wine list - I didn't have a drink because it would probably have made me sleepy.

Now on to MNSSHP! I can see the GF marina from my table, so I think I'll catch a launch. See you in a while!

I can take some heat...but the bugs...Ick! I hate bugs. Are they really that bad? What about skeeters, are they out in force?

Ok, I am low on batteries, so I may only post once or twice until I get "home" and recharge.
The MK is very spooky. All purple and orange lighting, with spooky HM-type music playing. Ghosts are floating around the front of the buildings on Main Street. Every kind of costume you can imagine - I'll post some of my favorites later.

I'm waiting for the parade - it starts in 5 minutes. Then I'm going to watch the Villians show and see the fireworks, then get some candy!!

The weather is still warm and no rain so far! The lovebugs aren't a problem - they don't bite, just hover in front of you. There are a fair number of mosquitoes out - I have one bite.

Lots of very spooky things starting to happen! Ooh, the Headless Horseman just rode by!!!!

I'm so jealous, new phone, delicious dinner, and spooky WDW! Does that fab phone of your take pictures too? Can you post them? What ghoulies are out and about?

The parade is amazing! Lots of Disney characters but also lots of great spooky floats with great music. I bought the CD. It has the P&P Party music on it as well.

Every kind of Disney costume you can imagine, of course. Lots of adults wearing them, too. LOTS of pirates and wenches. And some great classics - Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, etc.

They are doing a great job keeping people moving. It's very crowded, of course - like the MK on a very busy day. But it's fun!

Here come the Villians...
