OK, 10 minutes until SpectroMagic, so a little update.

My plane landed at 1:05pm and I walked into MK at 3:00pm. So, less than two hours to deplane, tram to baggage terminal, luggage was all carry-on, rental car, drive to TTC, bathroom stop (sorry, had to!) ferry to MK, and through the turnstiles. Not bad!

"We" saw the three oclock parade, Country Bears, Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, got a FP for Jungle Cruise, showed up 20 minutes early for my dinner ADR and was seated right away, then after dinner Jungle Cruise, POTC, and..oooh! I think I hear a parade!

OK, sorry for bragging about the IPhone, but hey! Stop drooling on it! Seriously, I'm amazed I was able to figure it out. You're talking to a woman who put the camera battery into the Kodak kiosk at Target yesterday instead of the chip, and had to have the (laughing his head off inside) teenage guy get it out with pliers. Sad but true...

Spectro was wonderful, of course. Now I think we should wait for Wishes!

The weather was great today - very hot, but not in an August sort of way. Wishes was so beautiful! Now, imagine you are standing in a crowd of about 10,000 people waiting for the ferry. Oh well, a little pain for a lot of pleasure!

The rest of the night will be boring, since I have to drive to the Beach Club, check into a studio, unpack, SHOWER! and charge my Iphone so I can chat with you tomorrow. We might sleep in a little - we are moving to OKW tomorrow. But, we are having dinner at Narcoossee's and going to MNSSHP, so come along if you can!

Good morning! I'm getting ready to check out of the Beach Club. For once my room was right next to the elevator. So nice not to have a long hallway! Too bad I only had it for one night. Today I'm moving to OKW in a one bedroom villa. Looking forward to that big tub!
I don't know where I'll decide to spend the day but I'll keep you updated! And I do know dinner will be Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian and MNSSHP starts at 7:00pm. So it sounds like a fun day no matter what!

Hi from the Rainforest Cafe, where I'm typing with one hand and eating a coconut shrimp skewer with the other. I'd better pay attention, though, because I almost ate a shrimp tail!

I checked out of the Beach Club after a pleasant stay that lasted 12 hours exactly - 10:30pm until 10:30am. It cost 12 points, so a point an hour! I am hopping around so much because I made my plans so late. Plus, I've used up all my points through next year, so I'm paying for the next three nights with cash - well, Visa anyway!

OK, the shrimp are finished and now I'm waiting for a burger - I really like the chips! There was a 30 minute wait without an ADR but immediate seating at the bar, which was fine with me. I have a couple of slightly obnoxious kids next to me, but I can cope. The parents are seated nearby but not at the bar, so there is some bickering, but they aren't my kids so what do I care?

OKW is nice and my room was ready, but I can already tell I much prefer a big lobby and valet parking! That's just a personal preference, though. It's a pretty room and a nice resort.

I think I'll go roam around the Animal Kingdom and look for DeVine. See ya real soon!

I am more jealous you have an iPhone than that you are at Disney! That's because I have 14 days left until my next trip. But who knows when we will get iPhones in this backwater? Well, let's see. Took about 8 years to get DSL so I suppose I will have my iPhone by the time it's on version 39!

Well, a brief detour because I left my ticket in my room, but a 30 minute round trip and now it's time for Pocahontas and her Forest Friends, then my favorite Festival of the Lion King! I stopped to watch It's Tough to Be a Bug on the way in. Such fun! My daughters HATE that show and always have, so it was fun to actually watch it and not have to worry about them!

It's very hot today and a little humid, but the crowds aren't bad. The wait time was 50 minutes for EE and the safari - everything else is less than 20 minutes!
