How comfy are the pirate beds at cbr??

WE WILL BE STAYING AT THE CBR IN NOV. WE HAVE ALWAYS STAYED IN DELUXE RESORTS BUT MY DS8 WANTS TO STAY IN A THEMED ROOM THIS TRIP. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME HOW COMFORTABLE, OR UNCOMFORTABLE, ARE THE PIRATE BEDS AT CBR? I READ THAT THE MATRESS IS ONLY 4 INCHES THICK ON A BOXSPRING. IM A BIT WORRIED!! WOW, THE THINGS WE DO FOR OUR KIDS, LOL!! THANK YOU FOR ANY INFORMATION.....

I am bumping for an answer as well. I looked into this resort this summer and we ended up in a royal room as it is my understanding that CBR are only double beds not queen. I hope someone can give us more info.

We found them to be very comfortable. We loved the pirate rooms! Well worth the extra $$$.

We also thought the beds were fine. Certainly didn't have Discomfort . . . and you really can't beat sleeping in a pirate ship!

Well it's been a couple years, but I don't recall being uncomfortable in the pirate beds. Loved the theming of the room...was fun to stay there. Just a little far from OPR.

Thank you all for the replies... We are so excited about our upcoming trip. I have heart problems and im a bit worried about the location of the rooms but I will manage.... Afterall, I will be walking around the parks for 10 days, lol.....

Agreed.

The double size didn't really bother us as we are short people (both DH and I are about 5'4'' and it was just us and DS who was 5 years old).
I just thought the room was so cool!
They are farther from OPR and the pool, but there is a quiet pool close by and a little beach area next to every building.
There is also an internal shuttle.
