How comfortable....

are daybeds? We have 5 people in our room (3 kids) and wanted to know how comfortable daybeds are at the GF. I suggested two rooms at a moderate resort which would give us 2 bathrooms and 4 beds, but they want to stay at GF.

Not sure about GF but, if the daybeds are anything like the ones at BWI I would say a child may be comfortable but an adult...not so sure.

I stayed at the GF in the main building over Thanksgiving and I was surprised that the daybed was not twin size. It was narrower and shorter. I had 3 kids also, 2 girls and a 14 yr old. Of course, my 14 yr old is the one that sleeps on the daybed. He is about 5' 4" and it was OK for him, but tight. The daybeds at the Contemporary and at the Poly are twin size. Nobody at CRO mentioned this to me ever - people need to take this into consideration when they are making plans. The GF will supply a rollaway, though, if the daybed doesn't meet your needs. (I found that out too- always thought there were NO rollaways at WDW)

My boys fight over who gets to stay on the daybed at the GF. They are 6 and 9, and have loved staying on them the last three years. Good luck!

Thank you thank you!! That is what I need to hear. We are taking our 3 nieces, 13, 9 & 7. The 13 yr. old has been many times with us, but the other 2 is their 2nd trip to WDW and 1st with aunt & uncle.
