how close is POR to epcot?

I was told that POR is so close to canada in epcot that you could walk to it from POR. I was told it was 1/4 of a mile walk. Is this true? I didnt think it was.

Not true. The only resorts within walking distance of Epcot are Yacht Club/Beach Club, Boardwalk and Swan/Dolphin. POR is not within walking distance, you would have to take a bus or drive.

I didnt think that rumor was true but then I looked at the map inside my disney Planner DVD and it looked close. So I figured I would ask.
