How close do you have to get to Lime Green?

I bought 2 meters of bright green ribbon that has a slight yellow hue to it. My friend and I think it was as close to Lime coloured as we found at Wal-mart but it said Emerald Green. It didn't look emerald to me.

Just wondering...If someone is wearing a bright green ribbon would you just assume it's LIME or does it have to be really close?

It seems to be the same colour as my Pooh lanyard from the Disney store...Is that considered LIME green?

If it looks like a color that a person might reasonably wear for fashion reasons... it's not lime green! I've never seen a definite DISer, but I've seen a few people that I wondered about but thought that they probably just happened to be wearing lime-greenish accessories. Make it obvious! I think if you just tie the ribbon to you or your bags for no apparent reason (not serving a purpose like holding up your hair), it will be more apparent that it's a DIS ribbon.

There is NO way I would wear that colour on it's own...So I guess it's pretty close to Lime Green.

Too bad that Mint green is not the DIS colour...I could actually find a reason to wear the bridesmaid dress I have in my closet. Just thinking, I have a seafoam green one too!?!?!

I got mine at walmart too. I tie it on my purse, but no one ever noticed it yet. I have seen it in a little bow and pinned onto shirts.

I saw a lime green ribbon tied to a wheelchair. Judging from the totally confused response I received from the passenger, I'm guessing it was just to distinguish it from other wheelchairs.

Emerald Green ribbon is the same color as Lime Green.

I have a piece of ribbon tied to my camcorder bag. When I'm at WDW, I always tie a long piece through one of my belt loops.

If and when I see any shade of green including lime green Ribbon tied to someone, I will make a fool outta myself and see what happens.......

I have mine tied to the upper back strap of my purse and my back pack and my stoller and on each strap of my bathing suits!

Well, I have a lime green ribbon tied to my purse... and backpack. It does not serve any purpose, so if you see me, stop over and say HI!

I can never find lime green ribbon... but I don't frequent Wal-mart, so next time I go there, I'll pick some up! This ribbon I'm using this time is old! But, it's lime-green, so it's getting used!

I safety pinned ribbons to my purse and put a ribbon under a pin on my pin lanyard. I had lots of CM's ask me what the ribbon meant, I found one DISer (AutumnGirl, hi!) at Epcot. I saw a couple at the Contemporary pin meet who commented how I was the only person wearing a lime ribbon.

My FH bought me green ribbon, but it is more of a light green- he claims that the sign said lime green, but I am thinking that it was the wrong color. I want to wear a lime green ribbon on my Honeymoon this next week, but I don't know if the one he picked is right and I don't have time to get new ribbon. My wedding is three days away and I am swamped with stuff to do!

The best advice given to me for my wedding was from a fellow diser...

All the small things that you have planned that don't go right...Don't worry. You are the only one who knows or has noticed. Everything is going to be great.

Thanks Photobear. I needed to hear that. Especially after the lovely display my daughter did when we had her pratice her walk down the aisle. She threw herself down on the floor of the church and screamed- I don't want to! I don't want to be in the Wedding! (Ok, she is three and loves to be the drama queen, but I am hoping that she doesn't pull that on Saturday)
As for the ribbon, I'm not going to worry about it. If anyone on the DIS wants to meet me- I will be the crazy girl that is wearing a wedding minnie headband with a 6'3" Man standing next to me wearing nothing on his head (he's bald )
I can't wait to get to Disney! I need a Vacation!!!
