hi
my ds age 19 has just booked 6 flights to dublin flying from bournemouth with ryan air th total cost inc tax is 12p yes 12p for 6 of them!!!!
The cc charge was £15 but if you had a visa electron card there would have been no charge.

How can they do it?

michelle

i flew with ryan air last week from belfast to east midland airport return at a cost of 8p for 4 of us, no taxes. dont know how they do it.

how can they do it? easy - they can't! with airlines like Alitalia losing a million euros a day now and being government subsidised and Air canada losing $50 per seat on a FULL plane flying from toronto to london, theres no way these airlines can keep absorbing the loss leader costs, fuel has risen so much that there are serious doubts over the future of many airlines.
Industry speculators are still convinced that by 2015 there will be 5 airlines operating in Europe. Tax payers across the continent aren't going to keep subsidising others travel arrangements

if that happens flight costs will rise sharply !

they already are Ba's current fuel surcharge transatlantic is £266 per person - one way!!

cheap flights are great if you can get them, grab them but don't be too surprised if theres no plane there for the way home :rotfl2:
