for 7:25 am?

I'm not crazy about buffets or CM but it is DSs favorite place. I thought by this age we'd be done with most character meals but it's his only request.

We have a 725 am breakfast ADR on our first full day. We will be at the Poly abd heading to Epcot after.

Is it insane that early? Or can we still have some leisure and semi quiet time?

i hate to do this, because youre probably looking here for a response lol but im going to piggy back on this question.

But more how is it at 9:30AM?

1) There is no such thing at Chef Mickey's as leisure or quiet time.
2) It is always kind of a Mad House with kids yelling and running around.
3) The noise level in further increased by loud talking - people trying to be heard at their tables.
4) This is not a condemnation - you would/should expect this at Chef Mickey's.
5) Just do not ever expect a relaxed meal.

LOL! THis is exactly why we choose CM! We know when we get there it is going to be a bit of a "party" atmosphere, and while it is chaotic, it really does get the littles in the DIsney Spirit

Fair enough lol

We've done dinner at 630 and it was a mad house.

We've done breakfast at 11 am and it wasn't as crazy.

I know it'll be fun and the kids will enjoy it. It's also SO first big WDW trip and he loves buffets. I think we will be fine.

Our family loves Chef Mickey's. We have eaten at different times of the day. It is a very loud restaurant. We have noticed, they seem to stage the seating according to areas in the restaurant. So most of the tables in your section will be either a few minutes ahead or behind you. This only adds to the "chaos" since diners around you will also be getting up and down for the buffet. But as a previous poster said, this is what it's all about! Chef Mickey's is always a must do!

We've only eaten there once for breakfast at around 8:30. I didn't find it any more or less chaotic than any of the other character meals. It was busy, tables continuously full, but we had no problem getting through the buffet line, as in we weren't backed up waiting several minutes to move along. If you're looking for quiet and relaxed, character meals aren't the best choice. But that's not to say they are over the top with noise and craziness either.

We've been to Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, Garden Grill, and Tusker House. We found Chef Mickey's BY FAR the loudest and most chaotic. I just don't see it as "leisure and semi quiet"!

We've done tons of character meals over the years and found Chef Mickey's to be the loudest and most chaotic also.

I was just wondering if a 725 am ADR wouldn't be AS chaotic.

I know we will have fun and it'll be a great breakfast.

It's a bunch of kids with the characters for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...need I say more? LOL! I personally love it. If you know going in that it's not a relaxing meal, you'll be fine. I did the breakfast several years ago, and I'm doing the dinner this year with my 2YO DD. I personally can't wait!

We did the first seating for breakfast in November and though it was busy it didn't seem that chaotic to me. By the time we left 90 minutes later our section was almost empty but the buffet was getting a bit crazy!
