How change of plans affects reservations?

We are heading to Disney World in December and have reservations at Pop Century along with Disney Dining Plan and numerous ADR's including 8:05 breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Castle. We are considering cancelling our Pop Century reservations to save money by staying off site at a much cheaper per night rate. I know we have to cancel the Disney Dining Plan if we do cancel our Pop Century reservations. Does this affect our ADR's? We really want to do the 2 breakfast's at Magic Kingdom. Can you still get into the park early for these breakfasts if you are not staying at a Dinsey Resort?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

It should not, but double (and triple) check with the CM about that when you cancel. Then I would immediately call Disney Dining just to confirm all your existing ADRs.

Also, when you made your ADRs, did you use your reservation number or a phone number? That could make a difference too, but I still don't think they will cancel.

Thanks for the information. I will have to check my reservations. We made them so long ago to meet the 180 days deadline for Cinderella's Castle that I can't remember if I used my phone number or my reservation number for the ADR's.

Yea, always use your phone number :). Although WDW is pretty good about matching them up :) IMO its still better to have dining separate then hotel reservations..

I'm going to move this over to our restaurant board. Our experts over there will have great answers for you.
