How can you stand it...

The longest wait I'll have is my current one....7 months. Last year, we cruised with DCL 3 times, with a 6 month wait between the 2nd and 3rd. It was hard. This year will be different because I am focused on our June WDW trip. Then I will focus on our next trip, which will probably be in Aug or Sept. then I will countdown to the cruise in Nov.

Every cruise we have booked has always been when the dates first appear for booking. So it is typically about a year and a half out and the first two cruise were very hard to patiently wait for. The third cruise not as bad and now we're just use to it.

So I guess the answer to your problem is to keep booking Disney cruises until it's no big deal :rotfl2::rotfl:;)

I am going to tell my husband MinnesotaMousekeers told me to do it!

Looks like we'll be at WDW at about the same time.... one trip at a time.... one trip at a time...

I'm active in the cruise meet threads and facebook groups, busy with planning and crafting FE gifts, researching ports, excursions, etc.
We watch the ships arriving and leaving in Port Canaveral on the webcam and I talk about the cruise a lot which drives my husband absolutely crazy ;)

I've often wondered how y'all can stand it when you book over a year in advance. We've never booked a cruise more than 4 months in advance and that time seems to just drag! ;)

Unless it's a *GT rate the price increases bug me way too much to book last minute. I look at cruisefish and think, "Geez if only I had booked at opening day! Ugh. No I can't do it. Look, it's $200 more per person now!" I cruise cruisefish regularly and any little price bump gets me.

I'm with you guys on the wait! It will be a year between DCL cruises for me. Ugh. I want another Disney cruise NOW. Summer prices keep that from happening though. I'm here every day getting my DCL fix. I look at cruise booking sites hoping, wishing. Sigh.

That's why I remain open to cruising at different times. All cruises don't increase in price. The cruise that I am on still has prices at $1866 for 3 people on a 5 nighter in an inside room at 6 1/2 months out. That's $622 per person.

If you aren't limited by work or a school schedule then that definitely works out.
