how can i work for Federal gov?

Here is a link for the Federal Government.

http://jobs.gc.ca/menu/alljobs_e.htm

I also know that in my area, jobs with the gov't are posted on the HRDC jobline but usually only for a short time. 24 hours or so. If you are bilingual, visible minority or disabled, you may have a better chance as employment equity is a big thing within the gov't.

Yep! that's the link. Peigirl is correct. Jobs that are open to the public are usually posted for very short periods of time (a couple of days) because of the great number of applications that are received so try to check the site every day or so.
Good luck!:goodvibes

Forgot! You should also look at jobs at the provincial level as they usually have better salaries (bigger scale...start about the same but goes much higher) and work conditions (usually 4 weeks of vacation and sick leave instead of 3 at the federal)!

Also check wages with the private industry. In the Atlantic Provinces, Feds are considered as well paid but I believe in other regions, private industry offers better wages. (Don't quote me, lol)

If your interested in Revenue Canada, this is also the time of year when they start recruiting. These jobs are posted in the above link and are often in the newspaper job ads.

thanks a lot
i did that, then i went to do 3 tests, but it is very very difficult, espeically the math test... and there were a lot of people applying too....
is there any easier way to apply instead of go through all those tests?

Not that I know of. They have always used testing as a screening tool. Even once you have a job, if you want to move up, its all testing and interviews all over again

Since this is a Fed. Gov. topic, just thought I'd ask. I've read that they give discounts to U.S. Federal employees in and around WDW. As my dad will be a retired Fed. employee when we go next year, are we able to take advantage of this, being from Canada?
