how can i tell if ive read a post ???

am i being dumb the post used to change to a diff blue b4 but its not changing now...ive got the new threads since i last visited in a bolder colour tho,am i seeing it right or missing something obvious

The envelope to the left of the thread title is closed if you've read a post. Also the title changes back to normal print from bold. (New posts since your last visit also have a blue box with an arrow as a shortcut to the first unread post.)
