How can I decide if I want an AP if I can't tell what the AP rates are?

I'm still considering getting an AP for next year - and our first trip would be January 20-29. But how can I decide whether the discout is worth it if I can't get into the website to see the rates? I don't have the number yet that I need! Help!

As an AP holder, I have gone on the site and done some quotes for DISers. I am not sure if your dates have been released yet, but ask us to do a rate search. Include your dates, resort options and number of people you have in the room. We would be happy to help. :wave2:

That's what sites like this are for! :wizard:

I think you can get rates into Feb.

Post your details, and someone will help you out.

Can I respectfully suggest that you base your decision about whether to purchase an annual pass on how many days you plan on visiting the WDW parks. That is truly the only thing an annual pass is guarenteed to do - give you admission to the parks. If you base your decision on the possiblity of limited discounts being available when you choose to travel you may be terribly disappointed.

True, BUT the savings are still pretty good, even if you don't plan to be there multiple weeks this year. I purchased one AP for me for our vacation in Oct--7 nights/8 days. The extra cost was about $250 between that and the ticket I was going to purchase. I already had AAA ressies when BR came out. THe difference in our room price when switched to BR covered the extra cost of the AP. So, now I'm even.

As an AP holder, I can--and did--purchase the DDE card for $50. With a family of 5, including 3 DSs---it will pay for itself the first day, and will save us a great deal during the rest of our stay.

Even without the DDE, you still get some restaurant discounts with the AP. It may not work for everyone, but it's worth looking into and doing the math.

Either way, I noticed this is a multiple post and I think they've already gotten their quote.

I agree. Don't make your decision based on room discounts but whether or not you will use the pass enough days to make it worthwhile.
