How busy?

We are planning to return to WDW either the last week of April or first week of May. How crowded is it in the parks then? Are most of the attractions open?
 
We went the week before Easter this past April and it great. Everything was open, but as it go closer to the weekend it got busy. Why wouldn't things be open. This is WDW. Open all year long. Even things that were seasonally.
