Hi Lauren wlecome to DIS, i wish i could tell you from experience what it will be like but i've never been, but i can imagine it will be really busy!!
i'm sure someone will be able to give you an insight.:hippie:

I'm going the first week of April - 1st to 5th - and would love to know what kind of crowds to expect too.

At least you are going after Easter weekend, Disneygirl, so maybe it won't be as bad. :)

Hi Lauren,

I've not been during that period either but just wanted to :welcome: you to the Paris Board.

I'm sure some knowledgeable disser will be along soon with an answer for you. Hope you have a great time BTW :thumbsup2

We're going from 7th - 10th April and I am expecting it to be very busy indeed! I think the general advice is to use the FastPass system as much as possible, take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours (if you are staying in a Disney Hotel), and if there is a long queue then try going back later.

I certainly don't intend queuing for 2 hours, last year we were there at the beginning of March and it was very busy at the weekend. I remember there was a 40 minute wait for POTC, I refused to wait that long so we went and had our main meal of the day (it was late afternoon). When we returned an hour or so later, there was virtually no queue at all, and we actually ran round again and went on a second time!

Have a fantastic time!

Me too. I am assuming it won't be as busy as the week afer when it's the french scool holidays.

We went last year Easter Sunday for few days and it was very very busy. However we still managed to do a lot by making use of EMH, for various rides and got on most rides without too much of a queue.

We also ate most days outside main meal times- either early or late

The crowds didnt put us off as we are going again the same time this year.

Just got back from DLP. We were at the park Mon April 2nd to Wed the 4th. There seemed to be more people at the park on Wed, but it still wasn't too bad. We used fastpass a lot, but the longest queue times we saw were about an hour. It'll will probably be busy this weekend with the easter holiday, but maybe next week won't be too bad.

Really? I'm sure Buzz and Big thunder Mountain had queues of 75 minutes and I thought many others were an hour. Even with a fastpass I think it took us half an hour to get into Peter Pan! Maybe we were looking at different rides to you. And I thought the park was heaving on Monday! We've only been once before - in July last year which I had assumed was peak time but this week was much busier. Maybe we were just lucky last year!

BTW just remembered that the park stays open till 10 from next week so that should help! it was quieter in the evening too.

Hi Beerqueen,

Were you in the park on the same days as me? Maybe we checked out the rides at diff times of the day. For the big rides like Buzz and BTM, used FP, but I remember checking out those rides again because my kids loved those rides and we saw a 55 min wait for BTM and a 60 min wait for Buzz.

I really don't have any experience to know whether the park was extra busy or not. There were definitely lots of people there. On the first day, there was a 5 min wait for Star Tours, so we didn't need to use FP.
We went 3 days in a row - mon to wed - and it just seemed to me to be busier on Wed.

But we still had a blast! :)

We got there on Monday and I think it may have seemed busier to us because we only arrived at lunchtime. Tuesday seemed better but probably because we got there at opening time. On Wednesday we did Paris and went to the park again on Thursday - again busy but we seemed to cope better. As I say it was probably because we arrived on Monday at the busiest time and after getting up at 4 in the morning - not the best frame of mind perhaps to cope with throngs! But like you we still had a great time!

Just wondering what it was like over Easter weekend.

We were there and it was very VERY busy, we spent most of the weekend queuing for something

We managed to maintain a lot of patience, avoiding the very long queues, and had a fantastic time regardless. I was prepared for it to be busy and that may have helped!

I was there from Easter Monday, I have never seen it so busy and I have been during the summer. I still enjoyed it anyway.
