DH just found out his company will be closed that week, the kids have a long weekend from school and we have free plane tickets so of course my first thought is can we do Disney?? Our oldest DD will also turn 12 that weekend so we'd be able to take advantage of the celebration theme.

How crazy would crowds be Fri-Sun of that weekend?

We are experienced WDW visitors but I've only been to DLR twice, once in 2001 and the Sat of 4th of July weekend in 2006.

LOL, I should not comment late at night! I misread things!

Holidays are usually busy, but in February, I don't think it would be as busy as summer?

We were there this year for my b-day, just DH and I. I was surprised that it wasn't so very busy. I got there first thing in the AM on Sunday, and was able to get fast passes for everything. Early morning was empty. I'd say mid day is pretty crazy, though. Monday was really quiet. We arrived on Sat, so can't say about Friday.
I will say, though, get resies ASAP to get a good rate. We had to pay the most that we have ever had to pay for a hotel that weekend.

LOL I was getting my holidays mixed up!!! Silly me!

Is there anyone else out there that has an opinion or experience with Presidents/Valentines Day weekend at DLR? Just how busy might it be?

Very busy. I went down last year between Lincoln's birthday and Washington's birthday. The Friday before Presidents Day, the park was packed in the evening. Fantasyland was insanely packed after the fireworks, and I'd never seen that before. A friend of mine went down the Sunday and Monday of Lincoln's birthday and said they were packed in the park like sardines.

I spent a few hours in the park the Saturday before President's Day itself and the place was packed. CMs were telling me to stay in the park all day if I wanted to see anything at night.

If you can go during the week though, the parks won't be too crowded. This year, I went down during some major holidays (Presidents Day and Labor Day). The park was much more crowded for Presidents Day than Labor Day.

We are going on the week following Presidents day (Thursday - Saturday). I am hoping that at least on Thursday it will be pretty dead. I have looked at a lot of regional school district websites, and I have not found any so far that have that entire week off....just the Monday of the Holiday. On this, and other forums, you will find conflicting info about that week. Some say the crowds die off by that Monday night of the Holiday, others say it is very crowded all week.

We are going for our 10th wedding anniversary so we will be there regardless of the crowds. I try to have fun no matter how busy the parks are.

We are going that week. Sunday - Thursday. My daughter is in a private school and they have the entire week off. A lot of school districts in WA do as well (we are in Seattle area). I would guess they won't be as bad as in the summer, but I guess crowds don't bother me that much. I am glad we will be there over the weekend to see the things that only run on the weekends in the off season. DD will be 3.5 and this will be her first trip to DLR!
