How busy is May?

We went to WDW from 11/23-12/08 in 2005 and while Thanksgiving weekend was busy, the week after was not so bad and then the following week it picked up a lot again. Please, can someone tell me how busy the first week of May is, comparing it to the times I have been there? Thank you.

Also, how is the weather in May? Thanks again.

We were there end of April, and while I don't have much experience with rating the crowds (it was our first time), it was not too bad except Saturday afternoon. Saturday morning was awesome getting on rides with no wait. The weather was in the low 80's.

We went last year in May - the day after the Celebration kicked off - and it wasn't too bad. Crowds were higher than normal according to others but we found it very managable. The weather was beautiful!! I am going back the first week of May this year.

Like Pocahantas, we were there in May during the 50th kickoff.

Compared to our previous trip during late July-early Aug, it was almost ghost town-ish.

I was there May 2004, and it was a beautiful time to go. The weather was warm and the crowds were moderate. They don't get too bad until most kids get out of school.
