Since the 7th and 8th are the weekend you can expect locals, and tourists, at the park but it won't be as crowded as summer or holiday periods.
My rec. would be to get to the parks a little before opening. DL opens at 8 a.m. , DCA at 10 a.m. MM is at 7 a.m. on DL. Go to DL first and get as many FP you can to use later when it gets more crowded. Sat. should be more crowded than Sun. DL seems to start getting crowded around 11-noon. About this time cross over to DCA and get all the FP you can there as well. If it's warm don't forget that the FP at GRR are stand alone, and you can have one there as well as another ride as well. Personally, if you are eating CS for lunch I would eat at DL-Pizza Port is one of our favs. Or Plaza Inn.
After you've done DCA for awhile, then you can cross back over to DL to maybe have dinner (or eat at Wine Country Trattoria at DCA first) and use the FP you gathered earlier.
At DCA don't forget to take advantage of Single Rider Lines. If you don't care if you ride next to each other, or maybe after you do the ride together the first time, you can get alot more rides done with single rider lines. The rides that have it are Soarin'; Screamin'; Maliboomer; Toy Story Mania; Mullholland Madness; and Grizzly River Rapids. Sometimes if you are a party of 2 you can still ride together if they need to fill 2 spots and don't have any small groups coming up. You can ride some of the rides 2-3 times as many times as those who wait through the regular line. Single rider isn't available at all times. If you don't see the single rider sign, ask the CM standing at the entrance. They also close off the SR about an hour or so before park closing.
At DL if you plan on riding Nemo, got there as soon as park opens. Or, another option is the special room you can access through the exit. If you have someone in your group who can't do stairs, or is claustrophobic, or if you just want to, go to the CM at the exit and tell him/her you want to ride in the observation room. It's a nice, large, air conditioned (the subs aren't) room with room for wheelchairs and several benches. You'll see a movie which shows you what you would see if you were on the sub.
While I was checking the hours on the 7th and 8th this special offer popped up-check it out, it may work for you

Any more question, just ask! We go to DL alot (AP holders) so I can answer questions you have about the parks themselves, but not about accomodations, rentals, etc.
Have a great time!
