DH would love to go to Universal in October. We were there in December and stayed on-site and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. However, we wouldn't be able to afford to stay on-site. We want to go for our anniversary. We would arrive Oct. 24 (a Monday) and would like to go for 3 days. Is it even worth our while to go this time of year without FOTL?

It wasn't too bad when we went last October, but I would define it as low-moderate crowds. We were onsite and had FOTL so it didn't affect us much. I think that you would be able to get everything in if you used the express pass that is free and planned your day right!

MelindaKiah,

We went the first week in Oct. 2004 and there was little to no lines at both Universal Parks. Especially, for the morning hours. It was kind of scary, almost like a ghost town in certain sections. We rode Jurassic Park 4 times in a row by our selves! Now the evenings did get a little more crowded. Probably due to HHN. We had a great time and are planning another one for this October. The only down fall was planning during hurricane season. The end of October should be fine.

I've been there in October a few times, and it was always dead. We got there right when the park opened and walked on everything.
