22 pounds,even though there are only 4 of us. I decided I wanted a low key Thanksgiving then visit the in-laws ect. after.
I think the big turkey is a competition thing. It was the biggest of the bunch and I felt the need to have it! It's going to be sooo good though!!
my mom is doing a 24# turkey and it will just be 5 adults and my 2 dd's (and they won't eat turkey).....and then, of course, my mom will complain how much is left over
2 thirteen pounders here rather than one 25 pounder----takes to long to cook the big birds, and I don't think a bird that large ever cooks right---feeding 6 here--want leftovers though
my mom just got a turkey breast for me and her. this will probably be the smallest thanksgiving ever. but we have the sides. its better than last year though when we ordered boston market for 5.
