How big is a studio at BWV?

I booked two rooms for the end of August at the BWV. One is a one bedroom and the other is a studio. Will the studio be large enough for three adults? I figured my mother and sister could share the bed and then my 20 tear old brother could sleep on the pull out. Should I have enough room for them?

If your mom and sis can share a queen sized bed, then the sleeping accommodations should work for you. It's not a huge room, so there won't be a ton of space with three adults there but I'm sure they can manage, especially if they can visit you in the 1BR!

As an inside comment to other DISers, do you think Richyams might have had a response to this thread title? :teeth:

I don't know if you would want to be really close to them during your stay, but wouldn't it be cheaper (or less points) to get the 2 bedroom? That way, you have the same space for less money. Of course, I don't know about availability for the 2 bedroom. Just a thought. :)

I am pregnant and have two year old, so I didn't think it would be much of a vacation for anyone if we were all in one room.

You can always keep the door between the studio and the living room closed,
so pretend that it's 2 different villas, but it is fewer points for a 2 bedroom than for a 1 bedroom and a studio.

my family has a tendency - a big tendency to get jealous.

2 studios work better for me. then no one can say they were treated unfairly... (yes I give my family free hotels rooms to wdw and they still complaint unless everyone has the same type of room)

however I can definitely understand your need for a 1-bedroom. :goodvibes

you know your family the best.

Actually a 1BR and studio is a 2 BR but for less points if you designate it 2 BR. You would have the master BR, 2nd bedroom with sofa bed and queen bed and sofa bed in living room. You then also have everyone together rather than chance being on different floors or at the other end of the very long hallway -but based on some other posts lately maybe that is a good thing(not having them right next door that is.) Of course at this point you may not be able to change anyway. The studio should be fine for three. They probably won't be in it that much anyway.
Hope you have a wonderful family trip.

To Granny - absolutely - he would have had a ball with it.

::yes:: Same as what casterli said. :thumbsup2

I also agree the 2-B/R makes more sense.

If you get a 1-B/R for yourself and a Studio for them, then in your 1-B/R you'll find strangers next to you in the lockoff portion, and likewise, your mother/sister/brother will be in a Studio with strangers in the 1-B/R on the other side of the lockoff door.
