How big are the refillable mugs?

I've seen some photos of this year's mug design and they look a lot smaller than the ones we bought a few years ago. It might just be an optical illusion, so does anyone know the volume they hold? (My old one holds just over 12oz.)

The answer won't stop me from buying them - I think they're a real bargain for a two week holiday.

The are taller and thinner than the older 'dumpy' mugs and I would say hold about 12 fl oz.

That's good to know, they did look tiny in the pictures. Knowing my luck our room will be a trek from the food court so it will be nice to have over half a pint of coffee to take back in the mornings to wake up DH.

Just measure the water in our old ones from last year that are in the garage and they take just under 16 fl oz The new patterned mugs are the same size.

Thanks for taking the trouble to do that. I must have mis-measured my old one - 16oz is quite a big drink (US pint?).

Yes it would be a US pint.

This is good info to know. It will be our first trip in a couple of months and I was wondering about the size of these refillable mugs. An image search on google soon shows what they look like but at least we now know the size.

When we got our mugs at POR there were two types available. A short fat one and a tall thinner one (apparantly this type fits the cup holders on American cars).

I'm sure both types held the same amount.

Says 12oz.

My old one holds 16oz but if I leave some room for the lid then 12oz would be more comfortable.
