How bad is the standby wait for Frozen Ever After at rope drop?

We lost our FEA fastpass due to hurricane travel delays and I'm wondering how bad it is if we head straight there at rope drop. We are going to be at Epcot this Thursday 10/13.

We did it at RD last Wednesday. We had a long wait through security and didn't get to FEA until almost 9:30. Sign said 60 minutes standby and we got through in about 35.

It's not that bad. We had a similar experience to awalker1015 above, and that was in early July, right after the ride opened. They had the wait posted at 70 minutes at 9:45am, but we waited less than 30. You shouldn't have any issues getting on.

We went on EMH day and got back to Frozen at like 8:45 thinking it was going to be crazy. The posted was 60 but it was really 30 minutes. We were through the ride by the time the regular entry group was in and the line rapped like crazy into Norway.

I went Thursday week before last, 8 am EMH rope drop. Was through security by 7:45, went straight back to Norway at rope drop and waited 12 minutes. When we finished, the posted wait was about 40 minutes.

Last Sunday, we rope dropped FEA - we got to the ride itself a few minutes after it opened. Wait was between 15 to 20 minutes - it wasn't bad.

Once we were done, the wait was over an hour and steadily rose throughout the day. It was over 2 hours at one point.

I thought it was great. If you can get to Epcot by 8:15am and are near the front of the tapstiles, it will be even better. With a brisk pace, its a walk-on. At a slower pace (more normal pace lol), I'd say its only a 10-15 min lineup (as long as you are near the front of the tapstiles. If you are very far back from the tapstiles, you're adding an extra 10-15 mins just to get into the park (or more! my friend waited 30 mins carriving at 9:30am) and then about a 30++ min line when you get there.

I'm taking a huge gamble with this when I go down there in December. No guarantee that we'll even make it to rope drop. But the FPs had to be used on another park we'll be visiting later that day. Touring Plans is telling me that the wait will average to 45 mins for most of the day at the time but I find that suspciously low considering the 300min waits this ride got when it first opened.
