As we sat in front of the Disney Christmas tree listening to our Disney CD, we glanced out the window at the minivan with the Disney license plate and Minnie on the antenna. Downstairs our little one, in a Disney t-shirt watches his monorail go around the track. Upstairs, our oldest plays Disney video games in a room full of Disney videos. Across the hall is our Disney room with everything from our trips. I, in my Disney p.j.'s, help another friend plan their first trip. My husband, in his Mickey sweat shirt, plans our 7th trip in 8 years.

We had a thought. Is it time to join you in the DVC?

Thanks for all your help. We finally did it!!!!! We are proud to now be members of the family in Saratoga Springs!:Pinkbounc

CONGRATULATIONS & WELCOME HOME!

Welcome Home Neighbor!!

We dont have the monorail, but Im thinking on buying the WL Lincoln log set so when we get to pining for home we can get that thing out and go to work! All those other things you mentioned, yeah, we're right there with you.;)

It sure sounds like you made the right choice. Congratulations!!:bounce:

Hi,

Congrats & welcome home!!!!

We don't have it THAT bad and we joined DVC years ago (though my husband DOES have BOTH monorail red AND black. What does a grown man need with 2 full monorail sets plus oodles of extra track? I don' tknow, but he didn't question it when I decided we needed 350 points instead of our original 170 sooooooooo I try to be understanding). We do have it bad enough to count the minutes until our next vacation (or even until it's time to book our next vacation!)

Congrats and welcome home! You'll be glad you bought in!

Lisa

Congrats and welcome home!

When I read your post I started laughing. I'm sitting in our extra bedroom that is our "Disney" room. Disney lithographs on all four walls. Surrounded by the Wilderness Lodge Lincoln log set, two Disney lamps, two Disney wall clocks, a twin bed loaded down with Disney character stuffed animals, and Disney snow globes on the shelves. Gosh, I love this room!

Good call! It was time. Congratulations and Welcome Home :)

And welcome to our little community on the DIS!

CONGRATS AND WELCOME HOME!!

Laughed at your post. We've got our share of shirts and a Mickey toasts our breakfast goodies, but no Disney dedicated room....................yet:tongue:

Peace

Congratulations! Our house sounds very similar to yours...I am typing this in our "hobby" room/den, with our Disney prints framed on the wall, my Disney Christmas trees in the next room that is also filled with disney videos and dvd's, amongst many other Disney momentos throughout our house!

Welcome home...

Jen

Congratulations & Welcome Home!:)

And yes my mickey antenna topper is on the car and I have spares in case I lose it. Various articles of clothing with Disney characters adorning them. My dogs Mickey & Minnie are sleeping peacfully right now. Plus what would life be like with out a Mickey watch?

By the way, welcome to the dis!;)

Sounds liek our house, too. We also have a Disney room that serves as a guest room.

Congrats on your purchase!!!

I've been contemplating turning our gameroom upstairs into our "disney room" but thought my family would laugh- now that I know my dvc family will be thrilled I'll definitely start on it after Christmas

Thanks to all my DVC friends and Saratoga Springs neighbors for welcoming me aboard!

Now if I can only figure out how to add my countdown to my 1st DVC vacation on my post...

Coming down in June to the Boardwalk villas!

Congratulations and Welcome Home!

We live in a very Disney home. The computer room has an orignal cel on the wall from Winnie-the-Pooh, 2 Disney cross-stich (one Mickey, one the castle) and 6 large memory box frames full of pins (with about 2-3 more still to be made/put up).

In the dining room we have a number of Collector society pieces including all the ones from the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Down in the family room we have two display pieces from the park (one for the 20th anniversary, one from 2000) as well as a Mickey lamp and many other Disney items including two racks of antenna toppers (with each rack holding about 20 or so).

We have the monorail, Contemporary and Grand Floridian running under our tree (and coming down today) and lots of extra track for someday. :D
