I have a few ADRs and the CS/TS was good/even one of the best to me apart from MGM but since joining this thread a few months ago I've heard moans of how it's terrible, mediocre and over priced the food is :( I live in the uk(so use to awful food) Anyway will I be really disappointed or is it not as bad as everyone makes out to be?? Thanks in advance :)

I am certainly not an expert but we have been going to WDW annually for several years now...the only place that I noted a change from one year to the next was 1900 Park Faire and that wasn't even the food, there was a sour odor in the restaurant that was unpleasant...it may no longer be an issue now...we haven't been back for a couple of years because of that.

We have gone 3 times since 2011. We think the food has been great at every TS. And we do one a day.

I haven't noticed any real difference in the quality of the food. If anything, I think I enjoy the food more and more every trip (though that might have something to do with the fact that I get more adventurous each trip).

Haven't noticed any difference in food quality since 2009 except for more healthy options available at cs than there used to be and more often guaranteed to get fruit cup or similar as alternative dessert but there is a huge change in cost especially at some of the more popular places such as Le Cellier and I expect most people are like me if they are paying $50 per steak they expect something outstanding and that probably doesn't exist - I wouldn't pay that price at home but I think people's expectations are higher in line with the price increase.

We go at least 2x a year and I really think the food has gotten better, but certainly more expensive. There are MANY more options and I think everyone can find something that they can enjoy.

This is putting my mind at ease so much. Thank you. I had just heard bad things about quality getting worse.

I have to say that the food quality and variety at most places has improved. Especially at the quick service spots. We never really have any major issues at all. At least nothing I can think of.

One thing I remember hearing post-2009 was the addition of horrific hamburger/hot dog buns at CS locations. Wheat buns, dry, fell apart easily - is this still the case?

I think Disney restaurants are always in flux. What is good at the moment may not be in a few years. In general I find that we have wonderful dining experiences. But once in a while you hit that off day/week/year.

I have never really been dissapointed with the food the past few times I have gone. I have eaten at a bunch of different places too. I even liked Tony's Town Square and they usually have pretty bad reviews! I think it is case by case.
