We're mostly just using a 1 TS for Lunch and 2 TS for dinners...otherwise we'd never be able to enjoy the food and it would take too much time away from park hopping.

We're doing the same, only sitting down twice a day. I really wanted to try some of the 2TS places. This makes it easier. I figure if anyone is hungry in the early morning they can use a snack credit for a muffin or something light.

When I used the DxDDP this past May I was solo, so chose to do an early lunch every day, then dined at a 2 TS Signature restaurant every night. For our trip in May I am traveling with a husband who loves to eat and a diabetic mom who MUST eat so we have the following:

we are 5 people (2 real adults an 11 year old and 2 kids) 75 total credits we are only doing twice a day eating we spread out the extra credits by eating twice on the day we leave and doing 2 2Credit meals over the week... we have 5 credits we don't have SET but I am sure the kids will use mid day between the sit down breakfast and sit down dinner

we have 70 credits used out of 75 I know on at least one of the days we have breakfast and dinner planned (day 5) breakfast is at 8AM and dinner is at 8PM the kids will want to eat again that day so that will be 2 credits used 1 adult one kid the 11 and 8 year old will share the adult one and the little guy will have his own I have my long list of snacks I want to try so I plan to do some of that on the days with a long stretch between breakfast and dinner the other 2 days breakfast is at 8:30 and dinner is at 5:00 so depending on how they do at breakfast they may want more than snacks those days too... if we end up having to buy a CS somewhere we can

My kids say their plan is 1 snack a day in the parks and 5 snacks from Goofys

my middle child (aka mommys little planning clone) knows what snacks she wants and everything here is her list

5 park snacks (1 mickey bar ,1 Ice Cream sundae , 1 plain funnel cake, 1 fruit cup* , 1 dole Whip pineapple flavor)

5 goofys (1 dipped marshmallow, 1 peanut butter fudge, 1 rock candy ,1 dipped Oreo, 1 cookie from the case)

I put a star by the fruit cup because she hasn;t read the menus like I have and I think that with the kids menus I see she may be fruit cupped out by the time it comes to getting snacks

we bought water for our room and dh and I have both given up soda... so we should not have to do many credits on drinks although with as hot as it gets in September ya never know... I do know DH and I will never use 10 snack credits each in 6 days so the kids should have more to play around with at Goofys

We have 2 actual adults, 1 11 yr old (Disney adult), and 1 child. We will be at WDW for7 nights, so we have 21 credits per person and 84 total credits. This will be our first time on any dining plan, and I can't wait to try a lot of new restaurants.

That leaves us with 2 credits per person (8 total). We arrive at 10 am on the first day. We didnt' want to get an ADR for lunch b/c you never know when your flight could be delayed. If we get to the WL by 11:00 am, we may try and get in at Whispering Canyon Cafe or just get a CS something at DHS. We didn't make any for the 14th, so we can just play lunch by ear. We might make an ADR the night before, but that's the only planning my DH wants to do for that day.
We have no plans for any of the snack credits. I want to use some for a Dole Whip, and then some at Goofy's.

Okay so a little over a month away and I have finished making every ADR for our trip. And now I just have to keep telling myself - I will not flip any park days- I will not change any times or places I want to eat !! Because if I do I will end up having a nervous breakdown !! :rotfl: That being said here is the info ----

We have a few credits left doing only 2 meals a day so plan to split a CS breakfast on 6 days to use them up. All my lunch adrs are early and my dinner adrs are around 7:30. That way I'm hoping there's a big enough gap between meals.

It's a lot of food but it should be fun. We also have 4 nights room only, tagged on to the end of our DXDDP stay, so they can be our non-scheduled and light eating days.

Since we'll be there during "free dining" and we opted to pay for discounted deluxe, we will be not be doing any CS meals, the joints will be crowded with those who are on the basic plan. 2 adults & 2 children for 7 nights:

9/6: Breakfast: OOP at ACY airport or on the way WaWa
Lunch: maybe a snack credit, if we're hungry
Dinner: Hoop Dee Doo revue
