We usually try to have my husband throw on a pair of shorts and I'm hiding in the bathroom. This last trip though they came a bit early and my husband was still dead to the world. I got to model my nightgown for the CM. (I think he was underwhelmed.) What do most people do?

They've seem me in PJs before, and I'm sure they will again. :teeth: No big deal, at least I'm clothed. ;)

Hi Tiiiigergirl.

MOST people are probably OVERwhelmed!...

I've answered the door in my robe, pj's, bathing suit, etc....I am sure in their experiences the CM's have seen it all....literally!!!!

If your "dressed" right, maybe you won't have to tip!;) ;) ;) ;)

Bathrobe over jammies is the norm for breakfast, shorts or whatever else I'm wearing for the rest of the day.

I'm sure they've seen it all. I knew a guy who was a room service waiter for a large business hotel who had been greeted by nekked people more than once.

Hi Shelley!

Joe usually answered the door in shorts, and I usually greeted Raymond with a nice polite hand wave and a "howdy" from underneath the sheets! He always pretended to never even notice I was waving at him! LOLOL

There was a great story a while back where a DISer reported that she answered the door with nothing on. It was an accident, though; she thought it was her husband at the door. The room service waiter probably would have been cool about it, but she was so mortally embarrassed about her goof, the waiter was quite embarrassed as well.

BTW, I've always thought that was the real reason they provide robes in your better hotels.

I have greeting them plenty of times in my P.J.s.
Dave, you reminded me of a funny story. We were in our stateroom when we would typically be at the show, and we hadn't put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign nor security locked the door because we only intended to be in there for a couple of minutes while we switched to our swimsuits to go to the hot tub. This was one of those trips when our stateroom host was very talented at coming in to clean while we were out, so we hadn't seen much of him even though the room was always magically cleaned when we returned.
I'm sure you can guess where this is going...he knocked briefly and then came in just when we were in the buff!! We dove for cover and a managed to throw my suit over my body. I don't think he got too much of an eyeful anyway because as soon as he realized we were there, he backed out! Once the surprise wore off, huibby and I thought it was hilarious. He kept apologizing when we came out, and we kept reassuring him that it was our fault for not hanging out the sign. I'm sure they've seen much worse tho'.

One of the major problems is how sound proof the rooms are. Also failing to recogize the importance of that little door placard cannot be overemphasized. When you hear the door start to open and you realize the placard is on YOUR side of the door, "Hey! We're in here!" is too late. Even so, I still smile when I think of the time we....
