How are YOMD winners notified?

This may have already been answered, but could someone comment please...if you win in the YOMD promotion, do you receive a card in the mail, or does someone bring something to your door? Reason I ask is that I've read about people having a card or something left at their door.

Prizes are brought by USPS, but they have to be signed for so if no one's there to sign, that's when they leave a card. That's in the US anyway, I believe in Canada you get a call.
