OK, now that the Presidents day week is over any reports on how the crowds are this week? We arrive Friday night for a 5 day stay and just curious how things are, even more so now that they cut back on some hours. Thanks

We just returned this past Sunday (02/23/03) and the crowds were not bad! The parks were basically empty in the morning and you were able to walk onto the rides. However, as the day went by, the wait time was up to 40 minutes. We did all the major rides in the morning and shopped/swam in the afternoon.

My wife and I flew down to Orlando Saturday, 2/22 ... and returned Tuesday 2/25. I can sum up the parks in one word:

EMPTY!!

There were a few long-ish waits here and there -- ToT was 50 mins, and Primeval Whirl was a ridiculous 45 mins at one points, so I'd recommend a Fast Pass for both -- but the paths were delightfully un-crowded, lines in shops and restaurants were manageable, and the parking lots were DESERTED. It was almost comical to see a few hundred cars plopped in the middle of this VAST EXPANSE OF CONCRETE! :p On top of all that, you could get a FANTASTIC spot for IllumiNations just 20-25 minutes before the show.

Weather was very nice, too -- nippy in the mornings (around 50) but it warmed up into the mid-70s during the afternoons. Pack a sweatshirt or jacket!
