how are the crowds in early Aug?

My sister is planning a last minute trip to Orlando next week and i have talked her in to staying at least one night on site. She is going to be there for 4 days and i was wondering how the crowds are going to be for the days that she won't have front of the line acess. Thanks for any help.

It's the most busy time of the year.
Summer is still going strong until the 2nd/3rd week when kids go back to school.
Now the last week of August and the start of September is quiet.
Arrive early each day, even if you have FOTL.
Go to lunch early at 11:30am to beat the crowd.
The advantage, is that the park stays open until 10pm. So you can leave in the afternoon, go to your room and rest, then come back as the tired are leaving.

I agree, it's very hot and very crowded. When we went last week, we got there after opening the first day we went and 30 minutes after opening the wait for the hulk was 40 minutes already. The next day we went we got there before the park opened, supposedly and it was much better. Got out early got home early.
