Never let it be said that I write ambiguous titles as click bait :flower:

On an upcoming cruise my son will be silver and his girlfriend’s a newbie. I was going to PIF a month early so I could surprise them with a couples massages, but I learned in another thread that’s not currently happening. A couple days later it occurred to me that maybe they can’t book anything ahead any ways because she’s a person a non grata. (Ha ha)

So what’s the scoop when people don’t match:confused:

Usually for booking excursions and onboard activities, a stateroom holds the status of the highest Castaway Cay guest booked into that stateroom. So your son and his girlfriend should be able to book excursions (and maybe dining) at his CC status. I think currently some of the onboard activity booking opens at the same time for all guests.

correct- whatever status is highest is the room.
We put the kiddo in grandma’s room to get them ‘silver’ perks and will do the same as needed for gold/platinum 😂

What if a silver x 2 is in one cabin, and a first time cruiser x 2 is in another, but both cabins are linked and we all want Remy and Palo brunch together at one table? Can the silver folks book a table for all 4? If not, what's the process for all of us to get a table together???

You would not be able to book any activities for the first time cruisers. Your best plan would be to put one silver in each room. Then link the reservations. Since status goes with the highest level in each room everyone would be treated as silver. The only issue with this would be muster stations. Even though Mickey doesn't do bed checks, and you can sleep wherever you want, each person would have to go the the muster station they are assigned, based on the room they are booked in.

Thanks, all. I was hoping that's the way it worked, that the ranking member could book for both.

:boat: <----- not soon enough
