I know we all went our own ways but I finally hit 15 pounds off. I hope we can start back up after the New Year when everyone is motivated. LOL. Anyone else still trying to loose?

I didn't post too much on the Wonders thread but I have been still working since the beginning. Since March I am down 43lbs. Basically doing it with change of lifestyle only, not much to speak of for exercise. Using the same philosophy as weight watchers but not keeping stats on all our points consumed and so forth. Hope everyone is still winning the battle.

What he said. Good luck to any and all trying to lose. I am just re-starting the exercise-and-diet thing; too late for major change before MouseFest, but surely by the cruise.... :thumbsup2

I'm back on track finally and back under 200. Lots of basketball and football have helped, so hopefully I can keep my eating habits under control and stay on target....stay on target..."lighten up"!!

"Loosen up!!!" ;) Then "Came from .... behind...."

C'mon, dawg!! :lmao:

I'm hanging in there with my 48-50 lb range...but very nervous about the holidays!!! :scared1:

if you're looking for the weight you've lost, i think i've found it...:sad2:
....and I'm keeping the other half safe for you....in case you want it back.

No, really, I'm dropping the ball big-time on this one. I hope that once I'm done with work, I'll get back to the gym more regularly. But right now, work is SOOOO slow, and there is practically no physical activity. I went BOWLING the other night, and I'm so stiff from that I can barely move!

Nov.3rd, recommitting to the gym. I'm sure there will be no hope for Mousefest, but by CRUISE time, I hope I'm back to normal.

That is also a huge accomplishment. WOW you guys inspire me to keep it up!

I've just started. I've gone to see my doctor, and I'm trying through him. I lost 5 pounds in the first weigh in, but I think I've found some of it back. It's really hard when I've got a lot of social things in my life that revolve around food. I'm hoping this is a better week for me.

WOW that is fantastic. Keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks Liz! It took me about 16 months to lose it, but worth all the hard work/sacrifice. I would like to get off another 10, but for now I'm happy just maintaining where I'm at.

I noticed Costco had a really good deal on their website -- you can buy a 24 month membership to 24 HR Fitness for $289.99 (plus $9 S&H). It works out to be $12.50/month. I'm going to look into it because I want to work a little more on firming up now that I have lost weight. Here's a link if anyone is interested: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?whse=BC&topnav=&prodid=11295243&ec=BC-EC877-CatHome&pos=6&lang=en-US

I'm still hanging in there. I lost a total of 70 pounds and have kept it off for over 6 months now; however, I did gain 4.5 lbs on our recent trip. I think it was because we didn't walk as much as usual. So, I'm back at it trying to get to where I left off before the trip.

I've been pretty much overweight my whole like, and it's been a battle the whole time :sad1: It's a very emotional and personal thing for me, but I think today I can honestly say, I've beat this thing; :) With eating less and a little excersie (mostly walking).

To all of you who think you can't do it! YES YOU CAN!!! :wizard:

Wow Aaron...I guess I never realized how much weight you had lost. Great job!!! I've battled the same thing all my life too, always "chubby" in school, did okay through my 20/30's and then the kids came and so did more weight. I've yo-yo'd pretty much all my life and have also learned the real secret to weight loss/maintenance is an active lifestyle. So get up off of that thang...:dancer:

Lisa and Aaron you both look absolutely fantastic. I lost alot of weight after back surgery and steroids. About 63 pounds and was at goal. Then I quit smoking and had a baby. Sooo now I have to start all over again. You should both be so proud. I totally relate to it being such a personal thing.

So true! The more I move the more I think about what I'm eating. When I hibernate in the house, even for a day, then I eat like crazy.

Pretty funny Lisa. Sounds like we've had similar courses....Well, except for the kids thing...

Thanks! So you quit smoking. That is terrific in of itself. I saw what my Dad went through to quit smoking and know it is not easy. Congrats to you!

I have really been struggling the past few months. I haven't gained back ALL the weight I lost, but maybe half. I have been back to being focused this week and hope to stay that way at least until my trip in December. The exercise thing is going to be hard the next few weeks. The OT specter is calling my name and messing up going to the gym. But if I stay focused on the food portion I hope I can keep losing.
