How are May Crowds?

well we may be switching our vacation from June 16-23 to May 18-26

What are the crowds like in may? We are hoping this may work out becuase we would rather go in may.

We have been to WDW during that same time frame in May and it was wonderful. Weekends of course are more crowded (Sat. in the MK was the worst) but not long waits on other days. We have been twice in May and if we could that is when we would choose to go every year. Unfortunately we can't anymore due to kids getting older and not able to miss school and now I am a school secretary and can't miss at that time. The Flower and Garden Festival is going on at that time also. Enjoy!

We went the first week of May and it was wonderful. The only time we had to wait for a ride (20 minutes) was at the Rapids in AK. No other waits at any of the parks! Of course, we wisely used FP for those rides that were "musts" for us. We're going back this May because we so much enjoyed it last time.

I'm glad to hear this about May. We are going this May and it is the first time we're trying that month. I'd love to see short lines!!

We too have been in May before and loved it... school is reworking plans this year.

When I was planning I was disappointed about how early the parks closed but once there realized that with little to no lines you could easily accomplish a whole day by the early closing time.

Have fun... and think of us poor souls there in the heat and crowds of June!

Of May last year, it wasn't too bad, but it was crowded. When is Disney NOT crowded? I am going May 19-22nd this year, hope its not too bad.
