Debating on spring break next year, if we go to Disney or do something different. Our spring break is the last week of March which falls to Easter so I wanted to get some idea of the Easter crowds this year and waits, etc. Thanks.

Crowds around Easter are historically very heavy.

Was my observation correct? Just got back from WDW 4/12-4/19. We drove and I felt that the volume of the cars on the road and the crowds at the parks were heavier than our past visit in late July 2013.

Does that seem right? For some odd reason I thought the summertime would be busier vs. easter break.:confused3

I was in MK yesterday. Arrived at 5pm with 3 FP+ reservations - rode every major ride before 8pm, then had dinner at Pecos Bills, rode Buzz again and found a spot to watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. A great night with moderate crowds, but easily navigated with a plan and 3 FP+.

This morning I did AK - arrived at 8:30 and rode KS twice, Everest twice, saw ITTBAB, rode Dinosaur and saw Finding Nemo (at lunch at Y&Y). Back at the hotel for a break and then on my way to DHS where I have FP+ for Star Tours, TSMM and ToT (will ride RnRc in single rider) then see Fantasmic.

So, the week after Easter this year the crowds are not too bad. With Easter earlier on the calendar next year, it might be worse.

We go around the 2nd week of April every year. This year it fell the week before Easter... I would say it was nearly unbearable at MK, but ok at the rest of the parks. We also traveled with extended family, which complicated matters. Other years the week before Easter they saw phased closing of MK, we did not see that this year. So, not sure what advise to give you... but I can tell you the kids do not notice the crowds, and as long as the adults keep a cool level head... all should be grand and magical!:dance3:
