How are crowds in late June into early July (from the 20's of June to july 4)? I imagine because of JUly 4 the crowds will increase, but when does that start to happen?Thanks

Hi, we went in June (see below) and I found it to be fine. I had no problems with the crowds and I don't remember being in lines for long. I can't wait to go down at that time again.

Crowds in late June are very heavy with consistent hour or more lines for the most popular rides. However, it is manageable and it is nowhere near as bad as it is going to get for you beginning about June 30 through July 4 when the crowds will be enormous.

We were there last June, the end of the second week and into the third week and it was a nightmare. This trip was the worst I ever saw WDW, swore I'd never go back at that time of year. Most of the waits, including rides like Small World, which never has a wait, was well over 45 min to an hour. The only ride we walked on was POC and that was during the afternoon parade.

When we went the last week of June, 2000, it was very crowded. Lines were manageable with Fast Pass though. Excellent time to go due to extended park hours. I enjoyed it and would go at that time again.

We were there over the 4th of July this past summer. I was hesitant to go during that time because I was afraid of the crowds. Well, we LOVED it! The special fireworks displays were amazing. It was crowded, but still very manageable with good planning. We were always there when the parks opened and then went back to the room to swim and rest during the afternoon heat. I loved the long park hours.

We have been the first part of June, the middle of June, the week after Thanksgiving, the second week in December, and 4th of July. As awesome as the Christmas decorations and events are, I still much prefer summer because of the longer hours.
