I just ordered a pair of Crocs because everyone here seems to be so fond of them - but Im not sure I got the right size! I ordered a 6-7, because on Zappos they recommend going down one size and I usually buy an 8. I got them today and they feel comfy but my toe just touches the end a bit. Is that about right? Do they "give" at all as they get worn in? I was afraid to go with the next larger size beacuse the width of these is still pretty loose. Any advice? I was surprised at how light they were, and the little holes give plenty of air conditioning... (btw, DH says Im crazy and will have a blister in no time wearing them...)

. Now I do socks or those peds type bootie socks except in the summer. I have short fat feet and I have had them rub on the top edge toward my instep. If you pull it out very gently and hold it for a minute, where you feel any rubbing (if you do feel it), then you can stretch it a bit so it fits differently. I just needed like a tiny (1/16 inch) stretch. Otherwise, socks, yes.
I'm not sure if you can shrink them in the wash....its possible!
I also have a high instep (is that what it's called?) and the top of my foot rubs against the top of the shoe and drives me nuts. Socks cure that problem.
