From a short afternoon visit to AK on Nov. 22, 2007 - my only visit to WDW so far. As a lover of big cats, I was happy to get one of these magnificent guys that close.

I love AK, so this thread is great!
Here's some of my favs from my trip in April 09.

I got picked to go on stage during FOW. My photos of the bird flying towards me aren't very good, but I like this one that I took from on stage:

Here's a few more I took back on Sep 17-21 on my last trip up there:

Not the greatest photo...but this is actually the first time in my ENTIRE LIFE going to AK (which is at least 5-6 times a year since it opened) that I've been able to photograph these things!!

I was in the very back seat of the safari truck. Do NOT sit in the very back seat of the safari truck if you want to take photos. I've gotten good results from the safari the past few years, but this was my first time trying to shoot 375mm from the back...my keeper rate was WAAAAY down! My rear end left the seat several times as I had both hands on the camera when we hit a bump.

zackiedawg... i LOVE your 6th photo (the blue/greenish bird) amazing photo!!

this is my fave pic of all....
it was taken on the walkway between the tiger enclosure... everyone was taking pics of the tigers and my son spots the dragonfly on a branch to the other side (dragonflies are my "thing" so he was very pleased to show me let alone get a photo and he's only 5!!)
