How about room 8508?

We finally relented to my son (ouch, ouch..... please don't twist my arm.... ok, ok.... we'll go again!!)..... it really wasn't such a tough sell......

Anyway.... does anyone have any words of wisdom on room 8508 (cat 4) on the Magic? We just booked that room for a 7 night in April, 2004. From the deck plans, it looks like it is under the hair salon, so I'm hoping it should be pretty quiet. We had a very bad experience with noise in 8048, on the 9/1/02 Wonder 4 night, at the beginning of this month, and really don't want to repeat that for 7 nights! I would rather cancel this than not sleep!!!

Just had 8012 (opposite side & down a few from 8508 ) on the Magic & had few noise problems (the walls & doors could be better sound insulated but no problems from above or below). It was really great to be able to lean out & see the external bridge station when it was in use!

I stayed in room 8508 on the Wonder. It was fabulous!! Very quiet (right under the Spa and adult pool). Very little hallway traffic...in fact, I never saw anyone! Enjoy.
