How about pictures of alcoholic drinks?

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to WDW, do you have to have had ADR's to be able to drink in the restaurants? Or are there some places you can just go to the bar?

TIA

Emily xx

Sorry to be talking so much in this thread! I'll have pictures next weekend from FWF.

At restaurants without a bar, you do have to go inside and usually it's beneficial to have a reservation. When we drink around the world, for example, we've usually planned it with friends months in advance and make a reservation to eat lunch at Canada.

At restaurants with a bar or independent bars themselves, as long as the bar is available, you can usually just go right in. TWo of our favorites are Victoria Falls (AKL), Territory Lounge (WL), and we used to love the Tambu Lounge way back before they changed the menus, as well as the now-gone Outer Rim Lounge.

Totally OT, but you live where I wanna live!

Has anyone ever drank around the world at Epcot?? I'm talking, tried a drink in every country? I would love to do this, especially if during the food & wine festival they have smaller samplings of drinks?? Any suggestions on best drinks to get in the WS? I am definitelly trying the Grand marnier Slush in France and a margarita in mexico!

We tried... My ex did UK, Canada, Japan, France, Italy, and Germany.. after the beer he got in Germany... it made him sick... it was a dark beer and didn't go down well after all the light beers. I only managed UK and Mexico, though I was helping him with his beers all along.

This year we are skipping the countries we did... and doing ones we didn't, except Norway and probably China since you can get those beers around here.

M'mm M'mm. That is just calling my name. You can get that "to go" out a take-out window, can't you? :cool1:

I can't take credit for this lovely item; a talented DISer on the design boards came up with it. Thought maybe you could print it and use as a guide:

I've found the best mixed drinks at Hollywood Studios - bar at the 50's PrimeTime is good and fun bartenders. At night there's a great little outdoor bar set up outside of the Sci Fi and they have some very unique drinks that are served with light up ice cubes. So drink up here, as long as you are taking the bus back to your hotel!

Wow those pictures were absolutely wonderful :thumbsup2

It was so great to even see the descriptions. Sometimes drinks look so good but you don't know whats in them.

I will definitely be taking the advise of drinking in Hollywood studios. :woohoo: Can you get that blue margarita outside of the Sci Fi or just inside????

Thanks again

Honostly... someone has to explain to me what most of these drinks are! And exactly where to find them (I don't mean at which country, I got that much...)

I was so looking forward to these, but just went to Whispering Canyon last night, and they no longer have them. :sad2: I had told my mom about these bc she loves margaritas. So she ordered the "Grand Margarita" and they brought her a regular sized glass. :guilty: We were both very dissapointed.

FYI

I called a few months back and they told me they no longer carried them. In fact, no one at the host desk had even heard of them before... that's how long they have been gone

Yeah, they got rid of half yards at WCC and the UK at Epcot back around last May. :(
