How about pictures of alcoholic drinks?

Here is a 1/2 yard of beer from England (don't remember what DH actually had in it)...

This was chocolate martini from LeCellier (very good). It kinda tasted like a milkshake, was very sweet.

Sorry, here's yet another Lapu Lapu from the Poly. IMO, the drink wasn't fabulous but it was served in a pineapple - how cool is that? If I recall correctly, the bartender said these are gutted out and served at Ohana- certainly a great way to recycle!

Tambu Lounge on a quiet Friday afternoon. You can see future Lapu Lapu's in the background waiting to be served.

Great thread, but it is too bad that the bar menu is standard now. We went to F&W November 1 - 10 and we always like to stop at a couple of new resorts and try their speciality drinks. My husband was very unhappy when we made our first stop and discovered the new standard bar menu. He asked the server who he could write to complain (he never complains about anything, even when he has been wronged!). We do not have kids and have been going to WDW for 13 years and a big part of the experience for us is the food and wine.

We found this to be disappointing as well, but you can still order the specialty drinks if you remember their names... one of our must haves is Hurricane Hannah @ The Beach Club ask Rita to make you one she is the best.....

Hi, Julie,
Just wanted to say we are down in Knoxville and the Smokies several times a year. My sis went to law school at UT and we still come down to shop and spend the weekend.

Here are some drinks from our WDW trip last month....

Lemon Citron Slushie from Epcot (go to France!)

The Grand Marnier Slushie (I'm telling you, France has the best booze!)

Champagne Cocktail at the Gardenview Lounge at the GF

I tried a Celtic Sangria at Raglan Road that was great, I just don't have a decent picture of it. Same goes for the Kungaloosh at the Adventurers Club. All the rest of my boozie pics are from the F&W Festival and they are small samples but they were good, oh my yes!! :thumbsup2

Today's alcohol selections brought to you by the Tambu Lounge at Walt Disney World's Polynesian resort. This is our favorite bar for an afternoon drink. Seems as if our bartender John is always there!

Orange Dream (with Skyy Orange Vodka, Ice Cream, and Monin Candied Orange)
DSC01878.sized.jpg

Southern Hurricane (with Southern Comfort, OJ, Pineapple Juice, and Grenadine)
DSC01879.sized.jpg

Iced Chai Tea Latte (with Malibu Rum, Monin Chai Tea, and Half & Half)
DSC01880.sized.jpg

Pina CoLAVA (with Bacardi Razz, Frozen Pina Colada Mix, and Raspberry Puree)
DSC01881.sized.jpg

Both of these were from the WCC: One is a margarita and the other was called "year of million dreams" (I think)...

:rotfl: Great Post...Looking forward to having a drink when my pregnancy is over with...

as for my two cents.... Great drinks (no pics) were in Alfredos- the belllini and the margeritta's in Downtown Disney... YUMMY!

I'm hoping all you experienced drinkers out there can help me. :worship: I'll be turning 21 on our next trip this summer and plan to sample plenty of the alcoholic wonders of Disney. I know that I like tequila, southern comfort, bailey's, rum (just not spiced rum), amaretto, kahlua, and various liquers. I can tolerate vodka in small amounts, but it's definitely not my favorite. I just have no idea what drinks are available, not necessarily Disney specialty drinks. So if I could get some suggestions for different cocktails, Disney ones too, to try that would be great! :cool1: :drinking1

Also, what restaurant should I go to for my birthday dinner (ie has the absolute best drink)? It will be my DM, DD, and DB(10 yrs old), and me for dinner.

Just found this one...Narcoosee's Lemonade

Wow..I have to hand it to the original poster of this thread...what a fun thread!! I have sat here and laughed my butt off. These pics are so fun to look and and I have been to Disney many times and have missed about 75% of these drinks. I will have to catch up this summer..lol Keep posting the pics....this is great.

We are not really big drinkers but the nice thing about Disney..."THEY" are driving the bus...not me....;)

Esmerelda :drinking1

great thread! I will have tot ake so many pictures for the various threads here in my trip after food, resorts and room view I now also have to takte pictures of the drinks! My friend will think I am crazy!! :scared1:

I'm almost embarrassed to say this thread is a bigger turn on than the food porn threads...

My favorites so far:

The margarita on the stroller. My kind of mom!

The citron grey goose martini slush. Bonjour France!

Can't wait to get back to WDW in September! :cool1:
